Is UploadEze free?
Yes — install it and use the core tools without an account. A Pro plan adds unlimited use, background removal, PDF merge and larger batches, but the everyday fixes cost nothing.
Do my files get uploaded to a server?
Image editing — compress, resize, crop, convert — runs entirely in your browser. Only PDF compression and background removal use our server, where files are processed in memory and discarded immediately.
Which upload forms does it work on?
It reads the upload rules from the page itself, so it works across most web forms — government portals, job sites, college applications and more. If a rule is written on the page or in the form's code, it can usually find it.
What if the form doesn't state a limit?
UploadEze also checks tooltips, the field's accept attribute, hidden inputs and the page's own JavaScript. When nothing can be verified, it leaves the value blank rather than guessing.
What file types are supported?
Images: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, SVG and HEIC (iPhone photos convert automatically). PDFs are supported through a dedicated set of PDF tools.
Which browsers does it support?
UploadEze is on Chrome today and installs on any Chromium browser (Edge, Brave, Opera). A Firefox version is on the way.
